Summer Solstice Walk @ Mount Greylock

For all ages. Take a gentle 1-2 mile walk through the meadows at Jones Nose. We will share our thoughts about the Summer Solstice and talk about how Earth’s axis and orbit around the Sun marks this yearly event. Dress appropriately for the weather and bugs. Bring water and a snack. Inclement weather cancels. Meet at Jones Nose parking on Rockwell Road.

No previous experience is necessary. All skill levels are welcome. Dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes. Bring drinking water and a snack. Trail may be muddy. Inclement weather cancels.

This program is FREE and open to the public. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Program duration 90 minutes.
