Have you ever walked through a graveyard and wondered about the gravestone designs and how they’ve lasted for hundreds of years? Visit the Discovery Center to learn more and draw or carve a design into soap using icons from Deerfield’s Old Burying Ground as inspiration. See and touch examples of the stones that carvers used, including sandstone, slate, and granite, and learn about Deerfield rocks going back millions of years!
