Print Room Sessions: Meditating on Art
Close looking is central to any study related to visual culture, but it has applications beyond academic and artistic analysis. The simple, meditative act of looking closely can help us slow down, quiet our minds, and open ourselves to new ideas and details that we’ve never noticed before. In these thirty-minute guided sessions, sit down with a masterpiece, breathe it in, and breathe out some tension and worries while you do. The selection of prints, drawings, and photographs on view spans Clark collection highlights as well as some lesser-known treasures and recent acquisitions.
Session 1: 1–1:30pm
Session 2: 1:45–2:15 pm
Session 3: 2:30–3 pm
Attendance at each thirty-minute session is first-come, first-served. Capacity is limited. To ensure your place, please arrive at the Study Center a few minutes before the session begins.
Free. No registration required.
