Print Room Pop-Up: Juneteenth—A Photographic Celebration

Celebrate Juneteenth at the Clark by kicking off the day of activities with a specially-curated pop-up exhibition at the Manton Study Center for Works on Paper. Come enjoy a remarkable collection of early photography by and of African Americans, ranging from extravagant Harlem wedding photographs to stoic portraits of Civil War veterans in uniform. This pop-up includes photographs by James Van Der Zee, Prentice Herman Polk, Doris Ulmann, and others.
