Print Room Pop-Up: Force of Nature
The theme of January’s First Sunday Free, “Force of Nature,” is derived from Yo Akiyama’s outdoor sculpture Oscillation: Vertical Garden, part of the Ground/work 2025 exhibition. Akiyama utilized varying combinations of fire, water, earth, and air in the process of making the sculpture. Deepen your consideration of Akiyama’s work and the four elements by viewing a special pop-up exhibition of works on paper showing how other artists have represented these primordial forces and materials.
