Meet Your Neighbors: A Celebration of New England Wildlife by Jeanne Wenitraub-Masson

Meet Your Neighbors: A Celebration of New England Wildlife by Jeanne Wenitraub-Masson Jeanne Weintraub-Mason (aka: Ms. Greene Jeanne), of Western Massachusetts, is an illustrator, graphic artist, and entrepreneur whose work highlights ecological themes. Taking inspiration from nature enthusiasts, environmental activists, local indigenous people, and biologists to create concepts related to relationships in nature (e.g. between plants & pollinators, caterpillars & host plants, animals & food sources), she employs digital pens and paintbrushes to create her work. Meet Your Neighbors: A Celebration of New England Wildlife represents examples of her work from the past three years which have also made their way onto calendars, tea towel and puzzles.
In her own words: “…I’m constantly learning—you’ll find me researching everything from dinosaur ecology to pollinator-plant relationships, to local mushrooms. I’m always on the lookout for interesting things to illustrate about beings of every shape and size who share this amazing blue planet with us. For each design, you may find me researching pollinator-plant relationships, local flora and fauna, bird, insect, and aquatic ecology and more.”

Jeanne also creates animated gifs that she posts to her monthly Tangled Tales blog (https://www.msgreenjeannedesign.com/blog).

Weintraub-Mason has a degree in Environmental Design/Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University.
