In recognition of the 250th anniversary of the own of Amherst, we salute the long time connection MTC has enjoyed with its fine resident performers and loyal audience members. UMass faculty members Laura and Lynn Klock (horn and saxophone) with Esteda Olevsky pinao will play the premiere of a new work, Music for a Midsummer evening by distinguished Amherst composer Robert Stern. Nadine Shank, piano, Laura and Lynn Klock will also play a variety of delightful pieces including Scaramoucher Suite, by Milhaud, On a Snowy Evening, by Catherine McMichael, and music by composer Jerry Noble who also performs in his popular Jazz Duo with Bob Sparkman, clarinet.
