People have long decorated objects to look  like what they’re not, creating beautiful textures like faux wood,  marble, and tortoise shell. Historic Deerfield has plenty of examples of these faux finishes to find! Learn about the materials and techniques used to make these finishes, and try your hand at decorating objects with some faux flair  of your own.
