Dafnis Prieto Sí o Sí Quartet

Afro-Cuban rhythms and modern jazz harmonies get together with the Sí o Sí Quartet led by Cuban-born composer, MacArthur Fellow, and GRAMMY-winning drummer, Dafnis Prieto. Called “one of the most impressive musicians in New York jazz” by the New York Times, Prieto channels his Cuban musical heritage through the jazz drum kit with congas, timbales, rumba, and son. With his acclaimed band bringing extra fire, Prieto creates, as DownBeat put it, “a sizzling set of complex compositions that will get you thinking as well as dancing.”
