Department of Conservation and Recreation for a fascinating slide show presentation exploring many of the notable artists and authors who have shaped the enduring public image of Mount Greylock. Through their creative work and inspiration, artistic figures like Herman Melville, Henry David Thoreau, J.K. Rowling, Thomas Cole and Walter Pasko have left an indelible mark on the character of the "Great Hoosac" mountain. Audience members are encouraged to share their own literary and artistic inspirations found in these beautiful Berkshire Hills.
