Meet one of our Open Hearth Cooks at the Hall Tavern for a back-door kitchen tour of three unique historic kitchens. Learn about the changes in fireplace and cookery techniques on a lively guided tour of the kitchens in Hall Tavern (1780s), Sheldon House (early 1800s), and Williams House (1816). See how fireplaces and bake ovens changed over time and learn about cooking on an iron cookstove. The tour starts at Hall Tavern and visitors will walk with the guide to the Sheldon and Williams Houses.

Included with general admission to Historic Deerfield.
