A Tower of Remembrance

All ages. This Memorial Day Weekend explore and honor the story of Mount Greylock’s historic Massachusetts Veterans War Memorial Tower. The 93-foot tall monument, crowned with a beacon light, is the Commonwealth’s tribute to those who gave their lives in the service of their country. The tour also highlights recent $2 million restoration efforts, upgrades, energy conservation and new visitor amenities. Walking tour duration is 30 minutes. Meet on the summit beside the War Memorial Tower entrance. Route is wheelchair accessible.
