Since 1962, Conway’s Festival of the Hills has welcomed visitors the weekend before Indigenous People’s Day (formerly Columbus Day) to celebrate community spirit and artistic talent. What began as a celebration of peace and local culture has grown into a cherished tradition featuring a Sunday full of events including a 10K road race, log-splitting and skillet-toss contests, a fall parade, live music, arts and crafts, local food, and kids’ activities.
