Population 370 and home to the remnants of the Yankee Atomic Power Plant, one of the nations first commercial power plants recently decommissioned. Bear Swamp Project hydro storage facility has a visitor's center. Water is pumped to a man-made lake built on the top of a mountain and released when power is needed. A quiet town with a lake for swimming and small hand powered boats.
