Seek No Further: Heritage Apple Time in Deerfield

Apples have an important history in Deerfield. Apples were dried for winter keeping, pressed for cider, and covered with cloves to make apple pomanders. Join us at the History Workshop for apple time and sample some unique apple varieties, including Westfield’s Seek No Further from our own rare tree! See our historic cider press and make an apple pomander to take home with you. We’ll have apple themed books for reading and a collection of historic apple recipes you can try at home.
