History Workshop Grounds

It is only a short walk down the lane to the History Workshop to find a beautiful interpreted garden and learn about the Native American practice of planting corn, beans, and squash together. Known as the Three Sisters, these plants grow as companions, providing food while nurturing the soil. Interpreted signs will explain this garden’s traditions and cultivation methods. Sit and listen carefully - you may hear the corn growing, and you will see and feel the beauty and peaceful presence of the Three Sisters.
