On Thursday afternoons in July and August, look outside the galleries and find a special demonstration by a visual artist working en plein air on the Clark’s campus. Get inspired by their work and by the paintings on view in special exhibition, Women Artists in Paris, and stop by our Visitor Picnic Tent to create a custom thumbnail watercolor kit—a pocket-sized palette perfect for the artist on the go. With the Clark’s spacious 140-acre campus as our open studio, this afternoon of free exploration and art-making is designed give creative context to gallery experiences. Our educators have all that you need to get started!
